GANA Releases 25th Glass Informational
Bulletin
The Glass
Association of North America (GANA) announced
the release of its 25th Glass Informational
Bulletin (GIB), a series of educational
documents available to the industry as a free
download on their website. Titled Detention
Facility Glazing, the GIB discusses
technology and several test standards used for
detention facility glazing. Glazing contractors
who work on this type of project are encouraged
to download the free bulletin, as well as
fabricators of detention facility glazing, who
could pass the bulletin along to customers.
“This is the
fourth GIB released from GANA's Protective
Glazing Committee,” said Brian Pitman, GANA
Director of Marketing and Communications. “Each
has covered a vital and important part of the
industry. Everyone in the industry should check
out our TechCenter, which has several great
resources and helpful tools."
Since their
original creation, GANA’s Glass Information
Bulletins have been downloaded over 500,000
times from the website at
www.glasswebsite.com/techcenter. Visitors to
the site’s TechCenter will be able to add this
GIB to their library beginning today.
