Geoff Weinstock Named Schilling Sales Manager
GALION, Ohio – Geoff
Weinstock has joined Schilling Graphics as Sales
Manager responsible for sales and marketing
screens and other services to the architectural,
automotive, container and other industries and
development of new markets. Weinstock left
the Ferro Corporation on March 31 after serving
with the firm’s Glass Systems business for 27
years in a variety of positions. His recent
position with the firm was Global Business
Manager of Flat Glass and North America Business
Manager for Glass Systems container products
including all inorganic glass enamels and the
SpecTruLite® all organic, heavy-metal-free line
of inks and coatings.
Weinstock was named to the
flat glass post in 1997 and later he was given
added responsibility for container products and
laser marking materials. Doug Schilling,
the firm’s President and CEO who made the
announcement said, “We are extremely fortunate
to have Geoff join our team. He is very well
known in the architectural and container
industries and knows these businesses very well.
He is well respected and has many friends and
business colleagues in firms in the US and
abroad. With his experience and reputation, he
will be a great sales and marketing manager for
Schilling Graphics and with his business acumen
he will also help us expand our business
activities into other related markets.”
Weinstock reports directly to Schilling.
Geoff’s long career with
Ferro began with the firm’s predecessor company
Drakenfeld in 1981 after he graduated from
Washington and Jefferson College in Washington,
PA. He held a variety of positions including lab
technician in Clayware and in the analytical
department with color matching responsibility.
Weinstock was the co-inventor
of Glass Systems Versicolor line of high chroma
enamels, a successful line of products that
Ferro continues to offer today. He later held
posts in quality control, senior chemist,
Manager of the Glass Technical Service Labs and
Pigment Production Manager.
