1. Scope

1.1 This test method covers the determination of the out-of-plane deformation (herein referred to as peak-to-valley depth) and peak-to-peak distances for roll waves in heat-strengthened and fully tempered architectural glass substrate processed in a heat processing continuous or oscillating conveyance oven.

1.2 The values stated in metric (SI) units are to be regarded as the standard. Parenthetical (inch-pound units) values are offered for reference.

1.3 This standard does not address any safety concerns associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
