Glasstech, Inc., is the leading innovator and producer of ruggedly durable bending and tempering systems for the worldwide automotive and architectural glass markets.

To meet the significant emphasis placed on high-performance coated glass, Glasstech developed highly efficient, advanced convection heaters for new and retrofitted systems. The FCH2 gas-fired, forced-convection heater and the ERH-C3 electric-radiation heater with C3 technology process Low-E glass in about half the time of a standard electric-radiation heater. The ERH-C2 processes Low-E glass approximately 25 percent faster.

Glasstech’s advanced architectural systems are the standard for processing Low-E glass. The systems temper only, bend and temper and produce tight-radius bends.

Constantly striving to improve quality, increase efficiency and reduce costs, Glasstech automotive systems bend and temper parts from simple quarterlites to very large and highly complex windshields for the original equipment and replacement markets.

Recently, Glasstech dramatically reduced tooling change times on its automotive deep-bend systems and advanced cylindrical bender, which does not require part-dedicated tooling.

Aftermarket services ensure the continued operational efficiency of installed systems as well as evaluate glass designs to ensure their ease of production.
