     O’Keeffe’s has developed and manufactured standard and custom architectural products since 1939, achieving a worldwide reputation among architects and builders for its quality skylights, aluminum access ladders and fire-rated glazing and framing systems.

     O’Keeffe’s obtained the patent on the first extruded aluminum skylight system in 1951, which paved the way for its recognition in skylights, windows, curtain walls, roof hatches and aluminum fixed ladders. Since then O’Keeffe’s, through its SAFTI division, has been first to provide fully code approved fire-rated glazing from 20 to 120-minutes; first with fire-rated wood frames and curtain wall; first to have a hose-stream tested, fire-rated glazing up to 120 minutes; and first to offer a monolithic glazing that substantially reduces the dangers of radiant heat.
