GANA Member's Only Offering
AAMA is committed to expanding collaboration with other industry organizations and to strengthening those relationships. In support of this objective, GANA members are being offered the opportunity to enroll in the FenestrationMasters program at the AAMA member price. That means more than a 50 percent savings – up to $700 for an individual or $7,000 for a group for orders placed through December 31.
“One of AAMA’s strategic objectives is to focus on our industry collaboration. By offering other industry organization members the opportunity to purchase FenestrationMasters coursework at AAMA member pricing, we are supporting and enhancing the value of those memberships and delivering broad fenestration industry training to professionals seeking to differentiate themselves and strengthen their knowledge base,” says Janice Yglesias, AAMA Association Services Director.

The AAMA FenestrationMasters program delivers professional certification and education that covers the full breadth of the fenestration industry, including performance standards, products and materials, test methods and code requirements. There are two options for certification within the program: FenestrationAssociate and FenestrationMaster. The online courses and both certification credentials cover information from over 50 AAMA documents in order to certify a candidate’s knowledge of products and practices. Upon successful completion of the coursework, candidates must pass the respective comprehensive exam to achieve certification.
Both the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the International Code Council (ICC) accept the FenestrationAssociate and FenestrationMaster coursework as 11 and 13.5 hours of continuing education, respectively. The coursework is also eligible for Health Safety Welfare (HSW) hours through AIA. When participants earn either of the professional certifications - FenestrationAssociate or FenestrationMaster, they also fulfill continuing education hours with AIA and ICC.
A critical update to the FenestrationMasters program will soon be available that will allow all candidates to take the certification exam online rather than at a physical testing facility, making attaining the professional certification even more convenient and accessible.
